Im not THAT smart, sometimes.

Well, i had my first final. hurray me. well it was three simulations, one on a cardiac rhythm problem called a megacode, then one on a medical problem, and the last was a trauma. So Wednesday i went in and started my simulations. my fist was was my arc nemesis, Ventricular Tachycardia, basically the bottom chambers of the heart are beating to fast to refill hence it is a really unstable heart beat that leads to no heart beat, really fast. I did amazing, except that my mind worked to fast for the drug conversion and i gave too much, dang, retakes on Thursday. Well my second sim was a medical where some dude passed out and we couldn't arouse him, well that was easy, IV monitor him and transport. Passed, 99 percent, sweetness. My last sim was a trauma where some tough construction worker was balling like a baby after cutting half his arm off. (Remember that these are only play situations that we are graded on.) So i covered the room and applied a tourniquet but it kept bleeding, shoot, needed to tie it tighter, fail, retake on Thursday. so after two completely boneheaded moves and two things i totally know i went to my retakes. Sweet, first my megacode, SVT, heart is beating way to fast, oh ya, 99%, now for the trauma. Horse kicks guy in stomach, balls would have been better, less bleeding. So this dude has severe internal bleeding, he needs fluids and a Surgeon fast. 100%, hurray me.
